New York City Ballet…Chicago Symphony Orchestra…Alvin Ailey Dance Company…Metropolitan Opera…Broadway shows…at their desks, writing acclaimed novels…in their studios, producing works shown in galleries around the world – these are just a few of the many places you can find our alumni.
youngARTS alumni hold leadership positions in the arts across the nation. Many of our alumni are familiar names. Many more are familiar faces. They are playing music, dancing, singing, writing, making films, taking photographs. They are, in short, making valuable contributions to our culture.
We are pleased to present you with the first ever
youngARTS Alumni Passport! The Alumni Passport is a terrifically useful tool that provides important information and details all the different benefits and opportunities that NFAA continues to provide to alumni.
We’re incredibly proud of our alumni. We’re humbled by their accomplishments and contributions, and we’re gratified by the role we’ve played and continue to play in nurturing their careers. Go to Alumni News to read about what our alumni are currently doing.
NFAA is committed to offering continued support to our alumni as they advance in their careers. We develop professional opportunities for our alumni, including internships, grants, and awards.
Our internship opportunities and grants are one of the ways we honor our alumni. In addition, we established the NFAA Alumni Award in 2006
NFAA Alumni Award in 2006, in honor of our 25th anniversary. Our past winners include Vanessa Williams, Rachel Moore, and Allegra Goodman. This year our Alumni Award went to Raúl Esparza.
Our
Alumni Astral Award provides financial assistance to alumni four and five years after their year as youngARTS Winners.
We encourage all of our alumni to
send news and to get involved.
Let us know what you’ve been doing. Stay involved by volunteering to help us with youngARTS Week, or performing at youngARTS events and participating in other youngARTS activities.
