REGISTRATION for youngARTS 2009 - Checklist:

Registration is available online and is very simple. You just provide some contact information, school information, choose your categories and pay your fee(s). Early registration (with discount) is between May 5th, 2008, and June 16th, 2008.  Final registration ends October 1, 2008, 5:00pm EST.  A major advantage of early registration is that your name is immediately shared with colleges and universities offering scholarships.
 

Steps
Verify you are eligible.
  You must be a high school senior in the 2008-2009 school year.
  If you are NOT enrolled in high school, you must be 17 or 18 years old on December 1, 2008. Proof of age will be required. (High school juniors of any age are NOT eligible.)
  You must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America (unless registering in the discipline of Jazz Music). A copy of your permanent resident card is required. 
   
Review fee structure and policies.
  The least expensive way to register is early and online. Online registration is discounted at $25 per discipline category through June 16th, 2008, 5:00pm EST.
  After June 16th, 2008, online fees are $35 per discipline category through October 1, 2008, 5:00pm EST, our final registration deadline.
  When registering online please use a valid credit card number. 
  Please note that your youngARTS registration fee is NOT refundable even if you are disqualified for failing to follow the specified requirements, become ill or injured, have a family emergency, and/or choose not to submit audition/portfolio materials.
   
  Fee waivers are available to students whose families fit the following criteria:

Please note that financial information will be kept confidential and will be used only for purposes related directly to the youngARTS program.
  In order to receive a fee waiver, please submit the following information:
A copy of your family's 2007 income tax return (1040 Form)
Proof of hardship, such as a letter from your high school principal, administrator or counselor on school letterhead.

Register and pay your non-refundable fee
  June 16th, 2008, 5:00pm EST is the early deadline with discount.
October 1st, 2008, 5:00pm EST is the final deadline.
Submit your completed audition/portfolio materials
We must receive your audition/portfolio materials according to the official mailing requirements no later than November 3, 2008, 5:00pm EST.
